Description
Sonoptek Ultrasound Ophthalmic A/B Scan SP-2000 for Ophthalmology Clinics & Hospitals
The Sonoptek Ultrasound Ophthalmic A/B Scan SP-2000 is an ophthalmic ultrasound system combining B-Scan imaging and A-Scan biometry in a single platform. It is designed to support ocular imaging, biometric measurement and IOL calculation workflows in ophthalmic clinical environments.
The system uses a 12.50 MHz magnetic-driven noiseless probe for B-Scan imaging and a 10 MHz solid and lightweight A-Scan probe with fixation light for biometric measurements. Its 53° sector scanning system, variable gain control, multi-level image zoom and 256-level grayscale/false-color display provide tools for reviewing captured ultrasound images.
For biometry, the SP-2000 supports 14–48 mm measurement, automatic or manual measurement using a foot switch, and both contact and immersion methods. Multiple IOL calculation formulas, including SRK-II, SRK-T, Binkhorst-II, Holladay, Hoffer-Q, Haigis and Post-LASIK calculations, are included in the supplied specifications.
